In today's world, it's not easy for a wedding photographer to stand out from the competition. There are so many factors that affect how many bookings you get for a wedding or a love story. At some point, great image quality, a creative approach, and good equipment stop being enough on their own. They no longer add real recognition. You need something more. Something truly exclusive.

I think it goes without saying that simply sending your client a link to a file-sharing service so they can download their photos is probably not the best idea. It can work for delivering the full gallery or as an archive option, that’s fine. But the idea that you give the client something real – something they can actually hold in their hands – is on a completely different level. Something that feels good to the touch and is made by real craftsmen. In an era when artificial intelligence answers your questions, sending a client a flash drive – or even better, presenting it to them in person – is impressive.

But what about the form? A regular plastic flash drive? No, I don’t think that’s a very good idea. How about a personalized wooden flash drive and a leather box with your logo hot-stamped on the cover? Just imagine your client’s face.

And you can go even further. Print 20–30 photos and place them in a wooden box with leather details, and add a wooden USB flash drive with the digital photos or video. Order your brand to be hot-stamped on the leather. That feeling of authenticity and identity will stay with your client for a long time. Their friends will see your logo on the box again and again – and that is actually some of the most effective advertising you can get.

And if you think about it: how much money does a photographer spend on ads on Facebook or Instagram? Maybe it’s time to go to the next level?
